Transmax Trans-Resveratrol Supplement Customer Testimonials

I first heard of resveratrol on a 60 Minutes news segment a few years ago. At that time, I was busy with a large amount of family responsibilities and just didn't have the time to research this ingredient, so I just forgot about it and moved on with my life.

In summer of 2009, I came across an article in one of my monthly magazines that discussed the new "super foods, super ingredients" for promoting a healthful lifespan and resveratrol was mentioned in that article. Researchers determined the trans version of resveratrol is most effective form for overall health and consumers should look for this version in a quality product. I come from a research, investigative, information-gathering family and Google is our favorite family member. I Googled "trans resveratrol" and Biotivia was the first link that popped up. What impressed me about Biotivia was the extensive clinical studies it has done on Transmax and that this information was readily available on the company website for consumers to digest. In fact, I really enjoyed reading the bullet points of the technical information. (I comprehended this because my undergraduate degree is in biochemistry, though I left the field a decade ago.) I immediately ordered a couple of bottles of Transmax. Since then, I take 1000 mg every morning, first thing, with a paste of three crushed garlic cloves, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1/8 teaspoon of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of hemp oil, and 1 teaspoon of agave nectar. Within a few months, the hairs at my temple dramatically stopped becoming gray (Now I just pluck the grays with tweezers once a week) and the varicose veins (I had very small ones) significantly cleared up. I just received TransmaxTR and I'll incorporate this into my daily Transmax routine so I have steady flow of high quality reseveratrol on a 24hr basis.

Because of my family member's horrific, eye-opening experience with our healthcare system, I learned it is my responsibility to obey a daily regimen of preventative health measures because I don't want to be at the mercy of multiple healthcare providers as I'm aging. Doctors treat only the symptoms and are not interested in the root cause of disease. I don't be a lifelong subscriber of prescription drugs while doctors and pharmaceutical companies are profiting off of my health issues. I am 59 years old and have had both of my shoulders rebuilt—Rotator cuff, decompression and bone spurs removed. I had my right shoulder done in January 2009—I was a poster child for doing the physical therapy and I still needed about 6 weeks off from work before I was able to get back in the swing of things. It took almost 6 months before I was really able to do much. I started taking your products (Transmax and BioQuench) in June of 2009. I noticed that my right shoulder was improving at an accelerated pace but I wasn't sure if it was your products or time. ( I am now convinced it was your products) Unfortunately my left shoulder was damaged the same as my right and I needed to undergo the same identical surgery at the end of October 09.

I was taking Transmax , BioQuench and BioSpan prior to my second surgery(I stopped 5 days prior on advice of physician) I resumed taking the products the day after the surgery. I only missed 2 ½ weeks of work and was at least a month ahead of my previous recovery time at 3 months. In February I started taking BioForge as I was able to start doing minimal weight lifting 2 1/2—5 lbs max. For those that don't know rotator cuff surgery is extremely painful and the recovery takes way to long.

By the end of March I was bench-pressing 135--- without pain! That was my goal for July. I am now at 160 and feeling stronger and better every day. I plan on doing a Sprint Triathalon in July. I feel great, people tell me I look like I'm in my mid 40's.

As an aside, I started giving our 15 year old dog a Bioforte on a daily basis about 3 months ago. At the time we were considering having to put him down. He is now doing much better getting around and is overall a much happier dog. We may get several more years out of him—Just wish I could have done this sooner.

Since I pushed 37 a few months ago, I suddenly witnessed the rapid decline of my 'youthfulness'. I had less energy and was suffering from insomnia plus my supple facial skin had altered in such short notice and I was truly shocked.

But what really got to me was my insomnia. I was reluctant to take prescription hypnotics i.e. ambien, so I took diphenhydramine which worked for a few days but left me with such a horrible hang-over. I then switched to melatonin, which altered my bowel habits, and I swore I'd rather be sleepless than be constipated.

As a medical intern, I heard about Resveratrol, but this was not what convinced me to try it because I did not want to die so old anyway. But my "obvious" skin/eye changes had me considering to try it, botox and blepharoplasty was out of the question.

I tried the regular Bioforte Resveratrol in January 2010 - after intense readings and research of course. In the first month I suddenly noticed the disappearance of my insomnia. I could sleep and wake up at will!

I felt my muscle aches go away ... but I still looked the same - aargh! 

I also started experiencing hot flashes but this suited me well because I am cold intolerant and winter has me wearing 3/4 layers of clothing. Now I am wearing just two layers :)

Anyway, on the second month, I switched to Transmax and am now on day 19 of taking it. I am ordering my second bottle as I write this.

In summary, this is what Transmax does for me:

I originally had no weight problems but I do need to binge sometimes ... now i can't do it anymore.  It's like Transmax has totally shrunken my stomach to half its size, so even if my brain wants to indulge, my stomach cannot handle it. I'm skinnier than ever so this might be good for people who want to lose weight as well.

I don't care if Biotivia won't pay me for the unsolicited plugging, but the puffiness around my eyes had disappeared! And yes, I got back my youthful look! And yes, if there were cameras I'd cry just like those hired scammers but this is real! I am not paid! I pay for the product.

So many times we hear more about what people don't like about a product rather than the success they have experienced. I am writing to share my excitement over Transmax. Here is what it has done for me:

I am 60 years old, diagnosed with arthritis in my back, high blood pressure (150/90) fluctuating up and put on high dosage of blood pressure meds that didn't work. My LDL level was in the very high range (over 210), and after menopause, I gained sixty pounds for which I could not lose no matter what - I ate less, dieted, tried to exercise, but couldn't do much do the arthritis in my back. I don’t know exactly where to begin, but I’ll start by saying “Thank you”. Your product has already changed my life. I have been going through an extremely difficult past few years and was frequently almost catatonic from PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) for over two years coupled with a form of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) for most of my life with overwhelming anxiety. On The first two days that I took 500mg Transmax I got a low grade fever like when you get a flu shot. I think the Resveratol was reving up my immune system or it caused my white blood cells to react to something in my body and kill it I hope. After two days I was fine, after the first week of taking 500mg Transmax when I was working out on a cross trainer at the gym I was reaching a higher level of speed than I ever did before and I thought the unit was broken. No it wasn't, I was really going that fast and at my age I am over 65.

I now have more energy, my 20 minute walks in the morning are now over an hour, I sleep better than I ever did and awake earlier in the morning and my hair is getting darker in color and I have this overwhelming feeling of wellbeing like I got my pink cloud feeling back.

This is within a few weeks of taking Transmax, so this is truly a miracle molecule. About my melasma: it is severe. It covers both cheeks and I have a mustache. I have large splotches on my cheeks which break into spots close to the hair line. By this time of the summer, it is so dark that it cannot be covered with makeup. It looks like I have dirt on my face. It bothers me, but I actually can live with it. Quite frankly, I obsess over my weight more than the melasma. But, then, that's a problem for a different forum. I have not proactively tried to treat it, due in large part to reading on this forum the endless futility of other people's attempts to treat it.

Okay. So, back in April, I became very interested in the reports of the remarkable effects of trans-resveratrol for treating just about everything. I have a PhD, I am a researcher/professor at a university. My research isn't in medicine. I am a cognitive scientist. Anyway, I spent many hours on PubMed looking up studies on resveratrol. The bottom line is I am so impressed with it, that I wanted to take it. So, I spent many hours reading about supplements. Purity is important. And the 2 brands that I have purchased and taken because of independent verification of 99% purity are Relentless Improvement (300 mg of trans resveratrol from Polygonum Cuspidatum) and Biotivia's Transmax (500 mg trans resveratrol also from Polygonum Cuspidatum). You can order these products online from the respective company's websites.

The resveratrol is in powder form and comes in capsules. And, it is NOT cheap! I am taking about 1000 mg per day. It was at this dosage that I felt positive effects: I sleep better, have more energy during the day, have lower appetite (I've lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks), and I just feel better. So, one day, I got the idea to break open a 500 mg Biotivia Transmax capsule and mix it in my small 4 oz bottle of Cetaphil's daily moisturizer, which was about 2/3 full. I put about a nickel size amount on my face in the morning and at night. After about a week of doing this, my melasma was fading. There was no peeling, nor irritation of any sort. It simply is fading. I hardly have a mustache. I am in the sun regularly (I ride horses), and I am not good about wearing sunscreen. So, usually my melasma is very pronounced at this point in the summer (I live in IN). But, it's fading. I don't know if it will completely fade. And, I don't know if it is from the cream or my taking 1000 mg of trans-resveratrol per day orally, or both. I think that it is the cream.

I don't know if this experiment of mine will yield the same beneficial effects for anyone else. It would give me enormous pleasure if it helped even just one person. And, I would be thrilled beyond belief if it helped many people. I think that everyone who posts on this forum feels this way.

I will do my best to answer people's questions about what I've been doing, as well as report on the status of my melasma.

UPDATE 3 DAYS LATER ------------

Okay, no more melasma over my upper lip (stache is gone). The melasma on my right cheek has faded more so than on my chin and left cheek, but everything is fading.

I should mention that I am a 43 year old caucasion female. I've never been pregnant, nor on birth control. The melasma became noticeable about 15 years ago.

I am a 48 year old professional and I recently received two bottles of Transmax after having seen the positive feedback on the Biotivia site and also on the independent evaluation site www.consumerlab.com. I have taken other brands of Resveratrol for two years and can?t really say I noticed anything negative or positive but Transmax was a totally different experience. I have no idea why it has worked so well but I have found a wide range of unexpected positive effects I can attribute to nothing but the Biotivia product. The first thing I noticed was that I do not have the stiffness in my ankles which was partly the result of injuries due to carelessness riding motorcycles and jet skiing - my dad was right they come back to haunt you! After less than a week of taking Transmax I noticed the problem was suddenly gone and presumed it was a just a good day but I have now had no discomfort in 10 days which is something I have never experienced in years. In my mind the Transmax has to be the causative factor because I have changed nothing else in my diet, supplements or activities. In addition to this I feel a sense of flexibility and well being that I cannot explain either. I am a person who exercises daily so am very aware of what my body feels like and I know there is a big difference I cannot explain.

My partner says maybe its a placebo effect but that makes no sense because I take eleven other supplements and do not tend to think in this way. I am a pretty analytical person and only go on what I feel and in all honesty I was not expecting anything much from Transmax other than pure Resveratrol! The other thing my partner noticed is I am not crashed out by 10.30 after a hard day?s work and I agree on this completrly because I do feel more energetic and less fatigued. Much as this is all a surprise I am certain the Transmax is the primary factor because there are no other possible explanations. I intend to keep taking the two capsules a day (I find one morning and one in the evening works best for me) and will let you know if things improve further. In the meantime thanks for a great product that vastly exceeds expectations in every way.

1) After we started using your products containing Resveratrol. My wife and I both noted (independently) that our shower drain was no longer accumulating hair during showers. Hair loss recurred after 4-5 wks without your products.

2) A toe nail fungus infection, that I wasn't bothering to treat, cleared up after starting to use your products. (and hasn't recurred)

I started taking Transmax a little over a month ago. Although I thought the research on Resveratrol was interesting, I wasn’t confident that I would get a benefit from a Resveratrol pill. Biotivia’s products looked like the most promising ones on the market, though, so I decided to give them a try, and I also sent some to my mom. Within days of starting the pills, my mother was telling me how her workouts are easier, she has more energy, she's losing weight. After at least two years of low energy, frequent headaches, and high stress, she sounded like a different person! I was very happy that the pills were working for her, but other than losing a few pounds and a slight reduction in allergy/asthma symptoms, which I attributed to exercise and the weather, I didn’t think Transmax was having a huge effect on me. I was wrong! Last night I ran seven and a half miles (a miserable hill route – this wasn’t an easy jog) with no asthma medication in my system. I wasn’t gasping for breath at the top of every hill (like I always do), my lungs didn’t hurt for an hour after the run (like they always do), and it was fun! I have never been able to run ten feet without my inhaler, and Transmax is the only thing I’ve changed in my routine recently. I couldn’t be happier with it!
