Consumer Lab approves Transmax and Bioforte

The world's leading independent supplement and over-the-counter medicine test organization reported that Transmax passed their rigorous evaluation and was shown to be the highest potency resveratrol product tested. Bioforte also passed and was judged the best value in resveratrol supplements. Biotivia is the only manufacturer with more than one approved resveratrol product. Several brands, including Revatrol and Life Extension, failed the evaluation due to product quality and strength deficiencies.

None of the resveratrol suppliers who have come into existence within the past 18 months offered their products for evaluation. Several of these companies have since posted substitute evaluations on their site which they claim to be equivalent to the Consumerlab testing. In fact none of their tests, including the Biomol test, consider the comprehensive range of quality and quantity factors evaluated by Consumerlab. Furthermore, given that these substitute tests were organised by the suppliers themselves rather than an independent and reputable third party such as Consumerlab, and the suppliers furnished the samples to be tested as well as dictated the criteria to be used by the labs selected for these tests, one must take this into account when evaluating their products.
